Websites   According to the Environmental Working Group website, their mission is to empower people to live healthier lives in a healthier environment through civic action and consumer education based on breakthrough research.  The group Women for a Healthy Environment provides information on environmental risks and making healthy choices on their website. Of interest, they are based in Pittsburgh!  This organization rates popular food products, personal care products, household cleaning products, electronics and other consumer goods to help consumers make choices that are safe for you and for the environment.  Environmental Defense Fund   See their infographic for info on toxics chemicals in the home.   Informative website and blog.  Includes “Mind the Store” campaign.  The Breast Cancer Fund’s focus is on the prevention of breast cancer through elimination of exposure to toxic chemicals and radiation linked to the disease.  A very interesting article can be found at:
